Dave Leiper
Managing Director
Engineering
Dave is a Chartered Structural Engineer with more than 20 years experience working in the oil and gas and offshore renewables industries. He has a wide range of experience working with most North Sea operators as well as some further afield, leading a variety of projects ranging from brownfield modifications, structural integrity to design and fabrication of jacket and topsides. Previous roles have included principal/lead structural engineer, structural integrity engineer and engineering manager.
Dave hopes to use previous experiences to help develop ASE into the go to company for offshore structural engineering.

Nicola Greig
Managing Director
Design
Nicola has 16 years of experience in structural design. She initially trained at the PSN Academy and has worked in numerous engineering companies since, both large and small. Nicola has extensive experience leading teams of designers for multiple clients and has worked on a variety of projects, from greenfield to brownfield designs and renewable energy projects.

Nicola is proud to have founded ASE with her former colleagues and believes they are the perfect trio to develop ASE into a fixed name in structural engineering and design in the North Sea and beyond.

Robbie MacDonald-Lewis
Managing Director
Engineering
Robbie is a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas and offshore industries. He has a wide range of expertise covering fixed and floating structures, brownfield and greenfield engineering and Finite Element Analysis. Robbie has worked for most of the UK's oil and gas operators and provided structural and marine Technical Authority services.
As a founding director of the company, Robbie aims to use his knowledge and experience to help clients overcome various business challenges and, in the process, make ASE the first choice for structural engineering services.
